Clem Johnson III, affectionately known as “Pee Wee” to his family and close friends. He was born on November 10, 1964, and was the eldest son of the late Clem Johnson, Jr. and Deacon Estelle Ford Johnson. On Friday, September 28, 2018, Clem departed this life and entered eternal rest at his heavenly home.

Clem was a graduate of TJ High School and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He always had a love of Music. As a member of Bethlehem, he was involved in the Music Ministry for over thirty years and played the Bass Guitar on Sunday Mornings until his health began to decline.

During the course of his life, he was a self-taught musician. Clem developed a love for music which grew into his true calling, one the best Bass Players in the city.
Clem was preceded in death by parents, his wife Patricia as well as a host of Aunts and Uncles.

His memory will be cherished by his daughter, Taylor Jonet Johnson; brother, Jermaine A. Johnson; stepson, Ronnie Evans (Betty); grandchildren, Ronjane and Dejha; sister in law, Sandra Evans; aunts, Lousice Johnson Graves, Wilnette Johnson Green, Geneva Johnson Thompson, Alnita Ford, Lucy James Johnson and Cornelia Wright Johnson and a host of cousins, other relatives and devoted friends and bandmates, among them Kevin Pryor and Wilbert Anderson. We love you and will miss you Clem, but your Lord in Christ has spoken.
